Megan and Cameron had known each other for a few years, but it wasn’t until they reconnected online that began their relationship. One day, Cameron brought Megan coffee to her workplace and when he walked in they both knew there was a very strong connection.
On a beautiful Saturday in March, Cameron suggested they go feed the ducks at Bicentennial Park. They were sitting on a park bench when Cameron got down on one knee and proposed. Megan, of course, said YES! Even the ducks were quacking with excitement.
Held at the beautiful Autumn Creek Vineyards, the couple had planned for an outdoor ceremony at the gazebo, but Mother Nature had other plans. There were leaves down the aisle, beautiful tobacco stick lanterns lining the aisle with fresh flowers and floating candles, and lots of mums, ferns and candles. They moved all of the mums, ferns, pumpkins and candles inside, and this romantic vintage ceremony was just as stunning, despite them having to go to plan B.
Megan and her bridesmaids spent the day in the Chardonnay cabin getting their hair and makeup done, while the groom and his men got ready in a different cabin. They were then transported to the ceremony area.
The bridesmaids wore plum dresses and the groomsmen wore black tuxedos with plum vests. They used fresh flowers in bright fall colors, including oranges, greens, pinks, yellows and plums. Megan wanted bright colors against the dark dresses to celebrate her favorite season of fall.
